Day 4: Indonesian Chicken Soup

I brought a salad for lunch today, but I always find that I don't want to eat it when the time comes for lunch. It's too cold, or something. So, inevitably, I buy something from Headliners, the employee cafeteria on the ground floor of the Tribune Tower. Today, I was enticed by its "Indonesian Chicken Soup" -- bright yellow, a layer of fat floating on the surface, eggs noodles that looked like bloated corpses. $2.26 for a small portion.

I'll admit I ate the whole thing. But I wasn't happy about it.

She says: YUCKY.

You know, come to think of it, it may have been "yummyucky," which is turning out to be a useful category.
